So, I'm in PE - chilling at a cafe with the girls watching the sexy surfer boys wander around :-)

The volunteer program is a little different to what I expected. It's a lot of fun though. As with any large group of people - there are those shallow, catty, up themselves, back stabbing, gossipy girls. We've had a couple of dramas - but I've managed to stay away from it all.

There are, however, the bright souls amongst them all. Two girls in particular - Shirley from Scotland and Ailen from Melbourne.

The reserve is nice, there are no cubs young enough to interact with but I'm loving the conservation work.

We did an amazing trek yesterday, searching for eles. Was a wonderful day and I actually have my first blister - which I am ridiculously proud of :-) I was using all my Kung Fu moves slashing thistle :-)

Anyways, lunch is ready so I'm off to eat and drink and chat with the delish locals ;-)
