Had a good time in Bergen. Went to fish markets for lunch with some of the other people from the tour. We also had some other people join the tour. Our guide has turned out to be really good. He still gets a bit confused with the nationalities of the Americans - the Chinese ones in particular who have never set foot in China but has managed to identify the New Yorkers as Americans. Since our last blog we had a couple more wonderful days with our German friends. We were planning a full day shopping in Dusseldorf but Trish sat on her bed and managed somehow to break the slats. Wonderful Wolfie went off to the Australian equivalent of Bunnings and made the appropriate repairs. He got extra slats in case Wendy destroyed her bed as well. They had no worries about Pam wrecking a bed as she was sleeping very comfortably on a mattress on the floor....

We left Colin, Di and the puppies on Friday morning on the fast train to Paris. We amused ourselves going through the pictures Wendy had put on her ipad from 40 years ago .
