On Wednesday morning, we had booked our tickets for the boat across to Isla del Sol. We boarded the boat at half 8 and ascended the stairs to the top so we had a great view for the crossing. It took about 2 hours to get to the north of the island from where we would hike to the south. We made the journey from La Paz to Copacabana on Monday morning. The journey wasn't too bad and took around 4 hours. It included having to hop off the bus to board a small boat and having to watch our bus perilously board a separate boat and cross the lake. It was an early rise this morning at 6.15am as we were booked onto the Death Road Bike Tour with a tour company called Baracuda.
