We were supposed to be picked up outside our hotel in Vang Vieng at 9.30am on Monday morning. However, given how laid back the Laos people seem to be about time keeping, we weren't picked up until 9.55am when our bus was due to leave at 10am. When we got to the bus station, we found about twenty more tourists sat around waiting for the same bus as us. We left Luang Prabang on the 9.30am bus to Vang Vieng. We boarded the bus and thought it was quite comfortable with plenty of leg room. However, the bus then started filling up until there were more people on board than seats. That's when the Laos bus driver unleashed his secret weapons; plastic stools. Since our last update, we've had another 2 nights in Luang Prabang. On Wednesday night, we ventured across the very shaky bamboo bridge and went to a pizza restaurant which had good reviews on trip advisor. It's been about 4 days since our last blog update and in that time we haven't been up to a great deal. This is mainly due to the fact that we've both been ill over the past few days. On Saturday night, we met up with a Dutch couple, Jeffrey and Illsa, who we met on the boat to Luang Prabang.
