So we spend about 5 days altogether in Sydney. We walked the Sydney harbour bridge, saw the opera house and had a drink in the bar, went to manly and bondi beach, went shopping, ate at Darling Harbour, walked alot! The day we went to manly beach was great, it was so sunny! The day at bondi beach consisted of rain, freezing cold wind and hot chocolate to heat us up!!! I know, random! We stayed in wake-up hostel and met lots of nice people, especially French people from Paris!
We then headed to Melbourne where we are now trying to settle in. We have had alot of sleep here, I think recovering from the last few weeks!! We have just been searching for a flat and jobs!! Alot of the places we have viewed are full of way too many people but unfortunately rent here is massively expensive! Basically rent here per week is more than what you pay at home for a month! The job search is hard because everything I'm qualified in I have to be registered and assessed to do here, it's a bit of a waste of a degree!! I'm looking at completely different stuff so hopefully something will come up! Today we had a break and were at an Italian street festival where they were attempting to make the longest pizza ever, but the weather was poor so they stopped half way through... No stamina!! Hehe tonight we are resting so we can be up early tomorrow to begin our job and flat search again. It's hard work... And very tiring, hope we fond something soon!
