Sunday 7th May
A beautiful day today so we headed out from Denmark to see some of the beautiful areas we had yet to visit.
First stop was GREENS POOL which is 15 kilometers to the west of Denmark and is a beautiful, magical beach in the William Bay National Park.
Almost completely sheltered from the waves of the Great Southern Ocean by the rounded rock boulders typical to this area, Greens Pool is paradise.
The water here was just so crystal clear - a truly awesome area.
Almost adjacent to Greens Pool is an area called Elephant Rocks, and as it's name suggests, the rocks looks exactly like a herd of elephants, paddling in the shallow waters.
We had a great day at these two wonderful places and enjoyed meandering around the whole area.
We also took a lovely drive up to Mt Barker, which was a quaint area and a beautiful look road.
We had dinner at the Denmark with the final "stragglers" of the A'Vanners, about 12 of us left now.
