Tuesday 20th June
A very early start, but it was a freezing cold morning and overnight it dropped to minus 3.
Once again a heavy dew so everything wet and muddy and freezing cold hands as we packed up.
There was a heavy fog on the highway, which didn't lift until about 10.30am. It was a very foggy drive across the Hay plains with extremely poor visibility.
We booked in Gundagai Caravan Park and booked an ensuite site. Such luxury. This park is unique in that the van and car are under cover, and a hop, skip and jump to our own ensuite. Kev put the fan heater in the bathroom to heat it up for me. Ever the gentleman!
We walked up to the local Club for a delicious dinner and then home to bed. No packing up as we stayed hitched so easy in the morning.
Wednesday 21st June
No heavy dew to contend with because we are under cover so everything is nice and dry. We left Gundagai on a foggy, freezing cold morning and headed home to our beautiful Kiama.
We have had an amazing trip where we experienced some very unique and interesting places in this wonderful country of ours.
And along the way we met many, many wonderful travellers all with their own stories to tell.
There is still much to see and do, but we are grateful for each trip we do, all the wonderful people we meet along the way, and the amazing, beautiful scenery in this wonderful county of ours, Australia.
