Hallo From Amsterdam! (i am fully aware that I am not anywhere near Bangladesh, but this journal is set up for asia i think and it wont let me say I am anywhere toher than somehwere wierd, apologies, I am not geographically retarded!)

So I've been having a wicked time here, Amsterdam was definately a very good place to start the trip from. Our hostel is really nice, although we have to walk up about 5 flights of the steepest steps ever to get to our dorm, and when you are there you are like äshhh but it will take me so long to get back down!"but its been okay so far. We are a fair walk away from everything, but its okay, I dont mind it as it means we can see more of the city. It seems to me like theres just about a million canals here, but they are pretty so itas okay!

When we got here we couldnt go to our room until a certain time so we had a wander around etccc then we went to our room which we shared with two canadian girls who seemed quite quiet at forst but were actually really nice. They were called oushi and sonia. yeah they were quite jokes! Then after we sort of settles in a little bit we went to find some kind of museumy kind of touristy thing to do. We walked past the heineken brewery but were like "nahhh"but then after walking a bit further thought why the hell not! and it was soooo good! it was sort of like a london dungeon kind of themeparkish thing with a few rides and 3 free beers and it was just really cool! there was one simulator where you stood there and it was the "journey ofa bottle"and the music was really dramatic and we went on all the conveyor belts and stuff.

After that we went to a pub called the three sisters and then went back for a relatively early night (well i did, Dug went for a walk and didnt get back till god only knows when!)

then next day we spent the whole day wandering around. We started off by vising the house that Anne Frank hid in, and that was nice. Not as fun as the heineken experience, but it was very interesting. It was wierd to be there, but Im glad I went. After that we went to dam square which is like the main centre of amsterdam, and we looked in some shops and then tried to find the red light distict. we walked around there for a while. Some guy was trying to get us to come in to see his sex show and he said "quality filth and sleaze in a nice enviroment"and it was so funny. another man tried to getme to go in because ï was lovely"i walked away as fast as I could!

then we found the ërotic museum"which was pure jokes and possibly the most wierd crazy and debaucherous museum I think i will ever go to. there were 5 floors and each floor was slightly different themes, like one was erotic art one was the red light district, one was s&m and stuff, it was just so wierd. quite funny though! we had quite a laugh! there was also a room where they played cartoons, like bugs bunny but a lot lot different to normal cartoons if you get my drift!

so after that we wandered around a bit more, went to a place called the mushroom gallery which had hundereds of drugs in it, and loads of little glass tables with them in. like not to take, they were inside the tables? with descriptions of what they did. there were literally hundereds! and you could get anything like some were "to make you laugh and hallucinate""to stimulate you and to make you laugh"etc... it was quite interesting anyway! so after that, we went back to our room, intending on going out again, but we got talking to ouisha in our room and she was really nice and we ended up just sitting on the roof out of our window talking to her and stuff. then we had some jokes, and dug ate 100 biscuits! and sonia ate 6 chocolate bars! it was funnny.

so today we dont really know what to do! money is starting to be an issue becuase everything is super expensive here. We think we will stay here for 2 more nights, and tonight we will go out like properly, even though i am a bit worried! I probably wont drink anything becuase i dont want to get lost in amsterdam or anything!

might go to the zoo today, but who knows!
