The sun sets over Hermosa beach after a long and positively awesome day. Why is it awesome, you ask? Because I finally saw The Dark Knight Rises! Of all the things I've done and seen on my trip, the epic conclusion to Christopher Nolans Batman trilogy is ranking in as one of the top three. Just in case anyone hasn't seen it yet, I won't write anything about the movie itself other than that it was a very, very worthy successor to The Dark Knight, which say loads...

Definitely the most old school safety inspection I've seen here at San Salvador airport. No scan, no x-ray, they just open your bag, do a quick check and then a frisk. Strange, low-budget and not that safe. Just what I'd expect from central America. But hey, let's not complain, I'm only here for ten minutes. Plus: I found an electrical outlet, so I can get some juice back into my phone.

Touchdown in Lima! Just a short change of flights here and then off towards El Salvador... And THEN to Los Angeles. In total: 15,5 hours on airplanes today, but just 11,5 hours lost in the air thanks to time differences. That's all for now folks.
