Back in christchurch, although the town's not that bad at all this time. Staying in a place called old country house now. A bit more expensive, but it's all paid by Adventure since technically the tour ain't over til tomorrow. Had a great night out, and I'm so going to miss the more liberal dispensing of alcohol when I get back to Sweden. Not that I'm drinking that much, but just being able to buy a round of beer for everyone and not kill your bank account is aw...

What the f***... I'm starting to get a fair bit ticked off by christchurch. First: the tour to edoras was cancelled because of 2 inches of snow, that's fair. Second: all the busses stops going for a full day, worries me enough about getting to the airport the following day to book a shuttle taxi for twice the price. Starting to be annoying now. Next: the shuttle arrived to pick me up half an hour late, just the exact time I was supposed to meet the adventure tour...

The hobo has landed. Finally made it to new zealand, after years of yearning and waiting and hoping I have actually made it here. The flight in was breathtaking, with the southern alps unravelling in front of the airplane followed by gently ondulating slopes in the flatland around christchurch.
