We're in Switzerland! Very pretty countryside in lovely sunny weather again. Stopped at the border to buy road tax- fleeced again. Went straight to Motorrad to see a man about a back tyre - fleeced again. Don't buy tyres in Switzerland. The picture is Bru's baby on the ramps. Bru thinks he has now got shares in BMW. Rain......tunnel.......rain........tunnel.........rain.......fleeced at the Mont Blanc tunnel.......rain.......more rain. Driving through the Alps and clouds was pretty spectacular. Morning visit to Intra further up the lake. It was Sunday, everywhere was shut apart from the cafes so we ended p eating again. Later we were rained off so we spent the afternoon playing 1010 and eating crisps.

Ok so today we are near a lake somewhere in Italy, don't know which one but it's not Como. The picture is the back door into the villa which is like a 14th century Fort Knox but the owners are a nice retired couple with a very active social life, always shooting off somewhere. Crossed the border into Italy and an hour later had our first pasta ( ravioli and spaghetti). The people have been very friendly and there are many Lycra clad males zipping about. Acqui Terme is beautiful and Bru has found the perfect bar, free food and large measures. Highly recommend La Lacia, where we stayed, the owners are lovely. Sat outside late in the evening surrounded by trees and owls.
