Day 12- that picture is part of the whit sundays, just to be confusing we left daydream island for dryland! from Airlie beach we set off for an over night stop on a farm. We had another really long drive, through the sugar fields in Mackay to a place called Rockhampton, the Beef capital of Australia, and also I think the murder capital..nice, although we went so many places i cant remamber if thats right, the Beef bit is. we also crossed a place called the tropi...

Day 9 (bored yet?) This was our first really early start...after 3 days of madness we were up at 5am for a 7 hour 700km drive to the Whit sundays, via Airlie beach and a few other quick stops...The journey pretty much involved sleep, but the first real chance to talk to everyone, as everyone introuduced themselves on the microphone on the bus..we got to airlie beach and after importantly buying a football we got a scary little boat out to home for the next 2 day...

Day 5 Bit of a non day due to no sleep just chilled in the hotel Day 6- Start of contiki!! After sitting round the pool and trying to guess who was on our tour, we were all put in a room before being whisked away to an aboriginal park plae where we were showed all types of food and medicines and had our faces painted. We then threw spears and boomarangs, which i actually got to come back ( it was a proud moment) we then had a go on a diggeridoo before watching...

Day 3 this is going to be brief and boring now as I havent written anything for weeks! its just so i can remember for when i get home..day three singapore we went to the asian civilisation museum and met a funny little German bloke called Peter..we went on a night safari that night which was really cool. it was all nocturnal however you spell it animals...although some like the elephants im pretty sure were drugged to stay awake. when we got back went for a sing...

(Geordie accent) Day 1 in the Big Singapore City Marc's bag goes to Melbourne.....shame he's in Singapore Hello from Singapore!! after a really good flight we got to Singapore about 6pm passed through the Swine flu detection and a sign awaiting the arrival of Sebastian Coe to the baggage collection!! waiting there, Darrens back came round whislt we joked about the disappearance of mine! later to find that it actually wasnt comming off the plane!
