Today was a long day of classes which only really means one thing... a short blog day. We started off the day with a sketching class in the Chigi Palace park (we are the only group that has ever had the chance to sketch inside the palace park). Today we had one of the best field trips. The field trip that we took was to the Vatican. Besides having to get up and be on the train by 7:30 in the morning the hour long commute was well worth the experience. Today the fashion majors were lucky... we were able to get out of our morning classes to go to FENDI. We were all really excited to get the chance to go to Fendi and look around their showrooms. We were in awe of everything, of course we wanted to buy everything in sight. We met with one of the main partners with Fendi who gave us our tour of the entire store. Today we spent most of our time on the bus heading home from CinqueTerre to Ariccia.... after being gone for a week we were all really excited to get home to the palace. We spend nearly 9 hours total in the bus traveling. Along the way, we decided that we were going to take a stop in Pisa to see the Leaning Tower. Today was the second day that we were in CinqueTerre. We had our second day of "hiking" with Marco. Today was the the more relaxed day of hiking; going from town to town. For most of the day we walked through the towns and got to do a little bit of shopping while also hearing about the history of the places that we were in.
