William Wallace Monument - built commemorate the Scots defeat over the English in 1297.
In the wooded slopes of Abbey Craig, is where the army led by both William Wallace and Andrew Murray formed up for battle which defeated Edward I's forces.
Build in honor of Scotland's freedom fighter.
