Lenbachhaus - Tuscan style villa which was the home of the German painter Franz Von Lenbach (1836 - 1904). One of the few painters who could enjoy his fame & wealth. The house has been converted into an art gallery which exhibits works by Klee, Kiefer & Munter and Lenbach (if you know who they are). A section is also devoted to the expressionist group Der Blaue Reiter (The Blue Rider).

Hofbrauhaus - without a doubt, the worlds most famous beer house. Founded in 1589 as the duke brewery. Common mortals had to wait until the 19th century to enjoy its products. Great evening. Extremely festive place (seats up to 3500 people), no wonder the Oktoberfest is so popular. Food was great. This was also the venue of the first Nazi demonstration in 1920.

Sheraton West Park - arrived just before six in the evening. Checked in to a suite. Thank goodness, some space at last. Really cool. Received a really refreshing glass of Blaauwklippen Sauvignon Blanc, delicious.
