Grand Canal, Venice - we have arrived. This place is buzzing it is so busy. Boats everywhere. Took water taxi to hotel, what a sightseeing experience. Beautiful doesn't do the place justice. Looking forward to the next few days.

Colosseum - Mrs B not feeling too great today. Have headed back to the hotel to let her chill out before heading off to catch the train. Hopefully nothing too serious and will be back up and running shortly.

Vatican City - did our tour this morning of the Vatican museum, Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica. Wow, what a place. Absolutely amazing and awe inspiring. Well worth putting up with the thousands of people (25000 will pass they their doors today). History is so intriguing.
