Cathedral of Christ the Saviour - this territory belonged to the St Alexius Nunnery in the Middle Ages. When the Nunnery was transferred it was foretold that everything constructed on the site would be destroyed. And so begins a long story and construction and destruction. Red Square - Mausoleum of Vladimir Lenin. Built 1930 and designed by A.Shchusev. Inside is the Sarcophagus containing the body of Lenin. Very dark, cold and creepy place....maybe suited to the man.

Ivanovskaya Square, Kremlin - Tsar-Bell of 1733-35, cast by I and M Motorin. The bell that's never rung.

Red Square at night. Did the most amazing trip around Moscow at night. The place is so, so beautiful at night. To top it all @ every stop we had to have a shot of vodka. What away to finish a truly incredible day. Pity Elise missed it.
