Fountain of Trevi - erected for Clement XII. This shows at its centre the statue of Ocean riding in a sea-chariot drawn by two Tritons, into the basin below, symbolizing the sea. It used to be a time honored tradition to throw a coin into the water to guarantee a return to this place, however there was no sign of any coins in the fountain, and the water was crystal clear(obviously fallen by the way side). Was beautiful all the same

Bridge of the angels, representing the apostles - entrance to the Vatican City. On the left hand side there is another bridge, depicting Liberation.

The Pantheon - one of the mist important and imposing Roman Temples. It was built in 27BC in honor of all the gods ( hence the name). Destroyed by a fire in 89AD, it was rebuilt sometime between 110 & 125 AD during the time if Hadrian. In 609 the temple was consecrated as a Christian church by Pope Boniface I'VE who dedicated it to the Virgin Mary and all the Martyr Saints. It is absolutely amazing and one of the mist beautiful interiors scene to date.
