Royal Castle of Linderhof - really beautiful. Just the drive up to the place is spectacular. Could get comfortable in this area.
The new "Versailles", erected in 1878, it's a rather small building and originated from a wooden annex to the "Konigshauschen" or Royal Lodge built in 1870/72 and enlarged after 1874 with a new stone facade.
Magnificent setting, so peaceful.
