Vienna International Airport (terminal 3) - all checked in. Very efficient. Sitting at deCanto Wine Bar & Shop. Lovely glass of wine, refreshing, even though the barmen gave me a dirty look when asked for ice.

Spanish Riding School (Lippizaners) - spent the morning watching them do their exercise routines. What magnificent animals. Lots of young ones that they were still in the process of training. Thoroughly enjoyed the morning. Elise enthralled!

Danube River Cruise - wonderful and tranquil. A lazy 3 hours along the canal and river. Even went through our very own 'Panama Canal'. Great afternoon, made very good use of the Austrian metro.

Have arrived in Vienna. Quick and painless thru customs and passport control. Waited awhile for the transfer driver, Elise a tad peeved off as she couldn't have her after flight cigarette, meantime that's where the driver was. Oh dear!
