From Beautiful Bath in England to Luxurious Les Get's in France... i some how ended up in Slough just outside london... how did it all go so wrong...?? :) Wait let me start from the beginning (it's a very good place to start.. for all those fans of sound of music)

After my few months of exploring denmark and ireland i decided it was time to head back sunny ol' england (in the non sunny sense.. that is) But to turn each postive into a negative .. i didnt just head back to england but headed back to visit my lovely 3 Bath girls that kept me company in my adventures around asia... and in true asia backpacker style we made up for lost time but exploring all of bath's locals ! ah the beauty of english pubs, afraid to say i am sucked in hook, line and sinker. Not sure if i will ever get use to this going out at 5 in the evening and pub closing at midnight... ( i am sure my mother is very happy to hear this fact!!) Anyway moving on .... An opportunity came up through one of my kiwi mates over here to go and spend a week sking in france.. On the boarder between Switzerland and France.. there is a little sking town called Les Gets... I had no idea what i was in for ... i had heard so many stories of real European Sking holidays ... but never imagined how much fun they could really be...
Ness's aunty owned a challet in the town so we stayed there ... We woke up each morning to the most amazing snowy mountain views.. that almost just about made up for the 2km hike we had to do each day to the challet after a day on the slopes. I tried out sking and yet again.. in true mackenzie fashion was absoultely useless at it... However overall it was a terrific week and cant wait to do it all over again next year!!

Now onto Slough ... yes for those of you who are 'the office' fans ... it is THE slough from the office ... Voted Englands most boring ciity ... and i managed to find a job in it .. actually it is not that bad ... it is a 20 min ride out of london and an hour away from bath ... so it is easy to catch up with mates in both places... plus i have managed to make some friends at the hospital i work at...Some Crazy irish girl have befriended me ... and i dont know who is more at risk ... nah seriously it is lovely to be around some familiar company and be a little settled for a while...

So next ... a trip around europe i reckon must be on the cards... but hey will see ... anything can happen... love to all xxx
