Well i have arrived !!!! and it is fantastic ... a slight problem with a cancelled flight in bangkok.. a very disorganised British Airways getting 400 hundread passengers who had been awake now 34hrs onto new flights and then slight misprint on my visa .. uk immigration questioning me why i was 5days early on arrival and there were some words about sending me out of the country again until my visa was valid... I DID NOT THINK SO!! The good ol' girl fake tears trick worked a treat again !!! Spent my 1st week bunking in with ness ... my sunshine for takin me in even though her room comfotably fits one.. but two at a push. Me being me, thought i'd get myself super organised for next year and decided to ring up a few OT agency to sort out some work... before i knew it i was sitting in an office signing paperwork and being offered a choice of a few possible jobs that i could locum at for 2 weeks.. a little voice in my head reminder me that although i didnt become an OT for the money at least i chose a job that is in need ( although the irony is ... that the lack of money is probably why there is so much need ).. Go Lyndall .. Hit the ground running ... what more could i ask for ??? So here i am in South of England ... finishing off a 2 week stint at a lovely country hospital... funny how i can hear myself saying before i left that i wanted to work in the middle of nowhere at some small country hospital ... and the middle of nowhere is what i got ... It has been a wicked experience and i have loved it 100% ... Now i am off to denmark ... land of christmas beer and incrediably good looking men ... though of course we all know the real reason i am excited about it is because i am spending a white christmas... catch up with my danish family and friends ....
