We are having a busy Easter Weekend as we complete our final preparations for a trip through Namibia and then into Angola on 2nd April 2016 with a tour group from Live the Journey.

We are spending a couple of nights at lodges in Namibia so looking forward to some holiday time on the way up. Reckon we'll do enough camping in Angola ;-)

We meet the rest of the group in Ruacana (Namibia) on 1 April 2016 and then cross into Angola the next day. Our itinerary is as follows:

• Day 1: Border post at Calueque towards Oncucua
• Day 2: Iona National Park
• Day 3: Cunene River mouth - Foz du Cunene
• Day 4: Death Acre to Baia dos Tigres
• Day 5: Sao Martinho dos Tigres island by boat
• Day 6: Flamingo Lodge at Dos Flamingo River
• Day 7: City called Mocamedes
• Day 8: Exploring the Flamingo area
• Day 9: Head to Lubango via the spectacular Leba Pass
• Day 10: Border crossing back to Ruacana

We then make our own way back through Namibia and have planned some time in Etosha and then through to Oranjemund on our way home. Will post updates as and when possible.
