24/7/11 Arrived in Hong Kong at 7:30 this morning after about 15 hours of flying. It's very hot and humid here. Meeting Kin shortly for dinner. Forecast 36 tomorrow so might get out of HK and go to Macau.

Day 3 25/6/11 Decided despite yucky weather to go out to the harbour and catch the monorail to the beach. Had lunch on the beach and then slowly headed back to hotel. Collected bag and headed for train to go to airport. Arrived in enough time to have a swim and shower before boarding for 12 hour flight to Helsinki.

Day 2 24/6/11 Left hotel after breakfast to explore the city on foot for the day. Did so until mid afternoon before heading out to Kranji for the evening races. Paid about 6 aud for a seat in indoor upper grandstand right on the winning post. Started well. 2nd in 1st and 1st in 2nd. All downhill from there. CBA card did not work in tote machines and no atms so called it a night after race 6. Turned out to be a good thing. Back at hotel at about 10pm.

Day 1 23/6/11 6am flight to Sydney was ok, out of airport by 7:30 and caught train into town. Not too keen on $25 return fare but better than sitting around airport all day.Walked from Central to Bondi, then caught bus part way back and walked the rest. Arrived at International at 14:00. Due to leave for S'pore at 16:10. Very tired. Smooth flight and arrived @ Singapore hotel shortly after 11pm. Impressed with Qantas.
