And were off!! Im going to try keeping up my blog again, it wasnt too successful when in california, but that was because my iphone software had screwed up my downloads or sonething...anyway second time lucky!!

So the week between getting back from Cali and leaving for LA again was pretty hectic, i was up and down between london and home like a yoyo trying to sprt out all of my visas, india and vietnam were both difficult to get and longggg queues!! I was uberly brutal when packing seriously you will never guess what... My bag was the lightest out of the three of ours! Yes thats right dad the lightest! Although admittedly my handluggage sack was probs the heavyest!

Saying goodbye at the airport was really emotional, one part of me wanted to just dash through security and not drag everything out but the other part wanted to stay land side for as long as possible!! We all said goodbye and a few tears were shed on the other side of passport control, we just all had to have a quiet moment!

In duty free we had a couple of minutes before the gate opened so we grabbed our last minute bits and shedloads of water before all having to have a nervous wee before boarding! On the plane none of us could really believe the day had actually come and it hit us how long we were going away for...arghhh!!

Wal and I had ordered vegetarian meals and so our dinner came before everyone elses...haha sick sense of satifaction at this! And youll never guess what... No cheese, butter or dairy pudding but instead chocolate soya yogurt...seriously someone knows me too well or the food fairy was looking out for me, bonus!!!

We also all had a glass of champers and oj, to mark the occassion and simulaneously watched Ted together...defo dont get the hype about that film?? I thought it was just weird! And not the good weird! Then i watched a couple of other films, one was proper gruesome but B had watched it on the last flight so thought id give it a go!! Really scarey but i wanted to see the end as id watched it all the way through!

When we arrived in LA we got through passport and customs control really easily, not like last time when we got completely harassed and the official didnt believe Bs passport was actually him!! And then Gemma picked us up and bless her, shed made a little banner!! So we spotted her instantly! And off we drove to her house in long beach.

On the way we ordered 'healthy' Chinese which was delish and went to a liquor store to buy wine, me and KV were totally stumped by all the choices so we brought the cheapest red from california... When in rome you know! We all ate and chatted with her four other housemates in Gemmas gino house and worked out a plan of action for the next day...

Im not sure it actually included us all being bolt upright and awake at 7am but hey hoe thats jetlag for you!! So today were going to pick up our car and go to venice beach and rent roller skates and be really embarrasing tourists with our bumbags and cameras round our necks!
