Somehow I had managed to fall asleep, must have been at about 4am, I woke up at half 7 and didn't know what to do with myself as my entire body was itching like mad. Eventually the others woke and we put our stained clothes in the wash then spent the morning taking it in turns to look after our bags while the others went to do things in town. I got my hair cut by some eastern European woman, who decided to shave the fluff off my ears as she was trimming around them. We left the hostel at 2 and took the greyhound to 1770 / Agnes Water, they showed Evan Almighty on the way, but half way through the film the bus stopped to pick up 2 Japanese guys who decided to sit directly in front of me and had the biggest hair known to man, they also couldn't keep still, his head was rocking from side to side so I had a crap view for the second half of the film.
When we got there the guy that was picking us up had been told to expect only 4 people, not 7, so he had to go back and pick up a trailer from the hostel to fit all our bags in. When we got to the hostel they didn't have our reservation either but we got a room and settled down. It was then that Coops remembered that the hostel they had booked when we were in Byron was supposed to have a swimming pool and was $21 not $25 a night. So it all started to make sense, we must have checked in to the wrong hostel. We went for a walk down to the beach in the dark and Coops was getting freaked out by all the talk of snakes and spiders. Couldn't really see much when we got there as it was pitch black so we walked back and cooked a Chicken Satay. Spent the rest of the evening reading and fell asleep quite early as I'd had pretty much no sleep for the past 3 nights.

Woke up at around 10, my bites were still itchy as ever, Coops now had loads of them as well, she counted 84, I counted 111 not including the ones in the middle of my back which were so clustered together they just looked like 1 giant bite. We walked into town and bought some bits and pieces for lunch. Coops got went into the chemist and it turns out our bites are sand-fly bites because they take 1 to 2 days to come out, apparently they're going to itch for another 2 weeks, so she bought some antihistamines for them. We relaxed around the hostel most of the afternoo, had cheese toasties for lunch and read our books.
At 1500 the ScooterRoo's tour started and we were all bundled in to a van and taken a couple hundred yards down the road to a hut where there were hundreds of Chopper Motorbikes. We all signed some piece of paper that no-one read and hopped on. It was so much fun, just pull the throttle and go. To start with we were taking it easy, we could tell that the girls weren't enjoying it, but after a few corners they were both really getting in to it and we were all giving it full throttle down the road. The max speed was only 80, but it was still so much fun having a group of about 50 people racing down the roads on bikes. We stopped off half way because we spotted a pack of roos in a field, there were probably about 20 of them all in the one field. Apparently one girl was knocked off her chopper by a Roo yesterday during the same tour.
We got back fairly late from the tour so the lads and I cooked our special, chicken and pasta. As I was searching for the girls to tell them the food was ready I bumped in to Emma from the Fraser Island tour, so we had a fun filled evening chatting with her and her mate about random b******s again.

Woke up and recieved the bad news that no surfing lessons were going ahead today as the surf was far too dangerous. Spent the day chilling out in the hostel reading books and popping out to the shops every now and then to make use of the special offer they had on chocolate milk and chocolate bars. Went for a wander down the beach later on and played rounders with the girls, they were saying its the most exercise they'd done in ages, and were completely shattered from it. Hung around in the hostel, the girls cooked a stir fry, which looked more like mashed potato because the rice was so starchy. Then we got on the over night greyhound, which involved loads of people cramming into a mini-van and being dropped off with all our stuff in the middle of nowhere and waiting for the greyhound to arrive. It was like something out of a horror film. The ride was awful, I was shifting around like Sid from Ice Age trying to get comfy enough to sleep, but there was always something sticking right into my back.
