Just a quick note to say i made it to Thailand and it is hilariously random! Got here about 4pm Thailand time on Wednesday and it is now 2.23pm Friday so bin here a few days now! On arrival in thailand i had sum crazy thai lady meet me in the airport wiv a big sign wiv my name on it and she showed me onto a minibus wiv a few other peeps 2 take me 2 my hotel.

We went down the motorway that has about 8 lanes of the craziest drivers ever- people in thailand don't change lanes properly at all!!! they just indicate n go- swear they don't even look before they just veer rite into ur lane- saw a few cars wiv big dents in them n im nt surprised. We gt stuck in traffic on the way (unsurprisingly this was due to a crash-lol) bt was gd 2 get a gd look around Bangkok- which is huge btw! Wat was hilarious was goin through the bridges on the motorway. Where u see graffiti on the walls at home- Bangkok hav their own version- Maths Graffiti!!!! Yep- where u wud usually c art and the usual swear words the thai put up little sums of 1+1 = 2 and summ adventurous guy put up the beggingings of a suduko! lol.

My hotel turned out 2 b pretty nice- has a nice restaurant downstairs n my room has wat im sure is a double bed in wat was supposed to b a single room bt nt complaining. The aircon is a must as well as its soooooo hot here- 36 degrees at last count! Was raining the evening i gt here bt has bin sunny ever since which makes a nice change frm the snow back home! They were playin avatar in the restaurant last nite as well so caught the last hour or so of that- preferred it in 3d bt was nice 2 watch sumthin- missin tv already! Nt sure y they were playin it either- im sure it must hav bin illegal bt no1 seemed 2 care.

The las few days hav bin pretty chilled wiv lots of catch up on sleep- didnt get much on the plane over here! also explored the local area n shops/ markets. They sell sum weird things bt i gt a new pair of flip flops which were a bargain at just below 2 pound! Goin 2 see a temple this afternoon bt really lookin 4ward 2 startin my tour 2moro where i shud hopefully meet sum english people!!! cant wait 2 go c the rainforest n the beaches- shud b really gd!
