What a disappointment for you all about the van still could have been worse at least the chappie is going half with the cost, so put it down to experience lets hope thats it now and your adventure begins but do make sure you join RAC or something similar.Oh and Luke what have you done to Jonathans hair a little too short I feel ,low maintainence I know but let it grow now Jonathan.Take care all happy safe traveling.

Hi again and good news you have located cooling system problem and the previous owner is at least gong 50/50 with repairs.

Make sure you are members of equiv. of RAC or AA as soon as you can also suggest you get a set of Tools & Spares from a local motorists shop with you .... e.g. Set of Spanners, A Socket Set (with a socket set which will include a size to fit the wheel nuts, a large addjustable wrench, large & small Screwdrivers, spare Spark Plugs & Spark Plug Spanner, Feeler Gauges (used for setting spark plug and and ignition gaps), Electrical Tape, Large Hammer, Rope, Oil, spare Water, Radiator Weld compound, and try and get a maintainace manual for you van model (Haynes Manuals are main publisher in UK and might be in Oz?). That little lot won't cost much but is really is essential. Nearly forgot make sure you have a 'jack' for any wheel changes.

I have most of above in our car and they are have all been used at sometime.

Luke take some time to brush up on using your GPS before you leave.

The adventure is really kicking off now, so be careful but enjoy!!!!

Hi all RAC to the rescue!!!

Hope you have got van probs sorted. If not .... Check inside your oil cap and inside rockerbox cover (the lump of tin that the oil cap came out of) and if there are milky white goo inside this means water is getting into the oil system (head gasket is likely to have blown and letting water into the engine internaly). Do similar check with 'dip stick' (the wobbly long bit of metal which normally has a shiney end.. which is the oil... if no oil then you will need some!). If this is the case it will be expensive, if not then problem is likely to simpler and less costly.

Hope it goes OK, and seriously consider getting money back if you can.

Just to keep you updated, we are all hanging at the mo, had a very crazy night. Its 1.30pm now and we have banging headaches.lol. Its all fun tho.

We are getting the van tonight which is going to be amazing, its an 8 seater toyata, soon as we get it we will email you some pics. Planning to get camping gear as well, we are leaving Melbourne on Monday for the Great Ocean Road. Speak to you all soon

Uhhhh!! Jus got back from Lushious lemar. Ohhhh he was FAB!! Stu & Ollie, you woulda loved it - he was proper balzing it out! He also did covers of Marvin, Ray and Kanye which I very much enjoyed. AND he got his chest out and invited me up on stage to rub it and more with him..... honest.

Annie got up on Rach's shoulders for alot of it and was screaming madly - good to see.

All who are reading this, if you have never given Lemar a chance, do. He is a lyrical DIME! Our generations Stevie Wonder or Marvin gaye I swear!

Anyways wish you guys coulda been there to enjoy it and bop along with us! I've left a sample on yer phone Ol.
