10/11/07 - 12/11/07 Sydney Central YHA Arrived in Sydney around 10pm and got the train straight to Central Station. 08/11/07 - 10/11/07 Prince of Wales Backpackers Inn The easiest way to get back to the main Melaka bus station is by local bus, so we headed off in the general direction of the bus stop and were relived to see another couple of guys waiting... it turned out that they weren't sure where the bus stop was either, but apparently as long as your somewhere near-ish the bus will stop for you. 06/11/07 - 08/11/07 Shirah's Guesthouse 25RM Arrived at Melaka bus station and had two very helpful touts for the town guesthouses tell us where to go and how to get there on the public bus... much cheaper than a taxi!!! Decided to stop at Shirah's as it was fairly cheap and we got a massive room with a balcony... and we couldn't be bothered to walk any further with our backpacks. Melaka was really nice... and so different from the other towns we have visited....

03/11/07 - 06/11/07 We arrived on the bus and decided to take Jimmy's advice on where to stay (it helped that he'd given us discount!). At first we were a bit lost, but luckily the place wasn't far from the bus station and Jimmy had given us some good landmarks to look out for... that'll be Nando's chicken!! I would have liked to visit some other places in Malaysia inbetween... but the main ones I fancied were the Perentian Islands and the Cameron Highlands......
