We had our last five days in Bangkok where we celebrated our birthdays. A couple of friends from our old work were in town so we hooked up with them as well. for Fred's birthday we went drinking on the Khao San Road....Thai whiskey of course! After a few buckets we had a wander and ended up with Simon treating (!!??) us to deep friend crickets....yep even i had a bite and surprisingly they weren't too bad! They were washed down with a fab thai curry and a few too many more buckets of whiskey (thanks to Simon again!) and then i had to put Fred to bed!
A few days later it was my turn and Fred and i celebrated my birthday. As i had been starved of wine since January we decided to treat ourselves to a bottle of wine which ended up being two! I was in heaven and was a great last night in Bangkok.
