After three weeks of being in Melbourne Pete has now recovered and we have our campervan! Today we are starting our 6 week journey to Cairns! We may or may not have wifi, but we will try and update our blog as much as possible :)! First stop, Lakes Entrance..... although we don't have a scoooby where that is !!

After only a few days in Aus Peter has been in hospital and had his appendix out! He is now recovering and is obviously in the best hands! For us now it's just making sure he rests for the next few weeks and then we'll be heading off in a camper van up the east coast.

After a lovely flight from Colombo we are now in Singapore! Tonight will be a new experience in a hostel with about 20 bunk beds! Wish us luck.....

Before we arrived in Pinnawala we had a bit of trouble! We planned to leave Thursday morning at 7.15 to get the 7.35 train, when arriving at the train station we were told that the workers were on strike and there would be no trains running! As a result of this we had to get a driver half way across the country, which you can imagine wasn't cheap for us travelers! After the worst car journey of our lives we finally arrived late afternoon in Pinnawala. Watching ...
