11 & a half hours on a coach from Te Anau to Christchurch....... Horrendous!!!

Arrived in Te Anau and went on a 4 hour walk around the lake. In the morning we were picked up at 7am ready for our Milford Sound cruise! One road in and out of Milford and the scenery was incredible, waterfalls cascade down the side of ice capped mountains! The cruise around Milford was lovely, penguins and seals and a lot of Chinese people!!!

We arrive in Te Anau early morning and check into our hostel, drop our bags and get straight out onto a 14km trek around the lake! The air is crisp but the views are amazing! We walk around the lake and head back to the hostel. We also made friends with a one legged duck. We named it Daisy.

Franz Josef Glacier, New Zealand

We took a helicopter ride up to Franz Josef Glacier which was amazing! Such incredible views!! Landed on top of the Glacier and this group of Chinese people started launching ice at the helicopter!!!!! Mental people!!! Went on a 3 hour ice climb across the Glacier before flying back down. Such a good experience!!
