We paid our driver 400,000 rupieh (20 GBP) to drive us round all day. We get him to drive us over to Tanah Lot Temple, which is a temple on a little island next to the sea.

There were what I assumed to be monks? asking people to donate money so they could stick rice and holy water to their foreheads..... we didn't fancy that! It was super hot so we didn't stay too long and we wanted to get across to our next destination which was an hour away....

UBUD - SACRED MONKEY FOREST

We arrive at the monkey forest and as you would believe it.... there are monkeys everywhere! There are ladies selling bananas for you to get a picture with a monkey on your head, so obviously we had to that!

There were cute baby monkeys near me when I picked up the banana but no..... the biggest fattest alpha male monkey decided to jump on my head!

Stuart had a go and he looked absolutely terrified!!! Funny.

We walk around the forest a bit more and one monkey runs up to Stuart and grabs the water bottle out of his house, rips into it and run off haha!

We stay for a couple of hours and decide to head back to the car..... this is when it all kicked off!

Sam spots a cute baby monkey on the wall, so he picks up this potato off the floor to give to this baby. BAD IDEA!!!!! This potato belonged to the alpha male and this HUGE monkey comes screaming and screeching over to Sam with his MASSIVE teeth on show!!!

Sam, Stuart and I start screaming and trying to run away the monkey comes running over for a second time and we are all scrambling to push each other in front of the other.... the boys trying to push me in front of them to protect them!

This monkey then bounds straight past us and over to this younger monkey and starts having very agressive sex with it!! The sex is over within a few seconds and then the younger monkey starts picking flees out of the other monkeys fur.

Our hearts still haven't gone back to normal after that adrenaline spike!
