The last week has been pretty hardcore. Whilst it has been fairly routine with cattle feeding as normal, some other stuff has not been brilliant. I managed to snap the wheel of a 7 ton two wheel trailer which whilst being impressive was bloody annoying for me. Luckily they had it fixed within hours, which was staggeringly efficient in a place so far removed from the modern world.
My birthday was a complete non-event, it was a normal working day, but to be honest I had no problem with it. However I'm definitely going to have to have a proper celebration with Luz and her friends when I get back to Buenos Aires. And then two days ago it rained, and by rain I mean Bible worthy rain. I went through, two pairs of jeans, two jackets, two pairs of rugby socks, two pairs of boxer shorts, two t shirts and a pair of boots. Some serious collateral damage to my wardrobe. Luckily the last two days have been stunning so hopefully summer is arriving. Its not as cold in the day and the wind has dropped so fingers crossed.
In other news, I'm going to be staying in BA for Christmas and Luz has invited me to her family's for dinner which should be good. And Maddy Gates will be around so Christmas is shaping up to be a blast. I am moving farms in the next week or two so a change of scenery will be nice as it is getting a bit mundane doing the same stuff in the same environment everyday. And at some stage I am going to ask Robert if I can have some time off to go up to Iguazu and the glaciers so i can see more of the touristy side of Argentina.
