well, im not really sure what to start telling you all - i have done soooo much since i last touched base with u!! (i think that im gonna be opening each blog with that phrase! lol, but here goes anyway!)
so the visa people were kind to me and after spending 60 pounds i was able to extend my visa by 7 days which is as much as i needed to be able to get back to ko tao! so after a whole day travelling to sort the visa ou i arrive in ko tao and am waiting at the diving centre for my friends from my last visit to come back from diving when all of a sudden i find my self signing up to do my openwater 4 day training diving qualification,. stillnot entirely sure where tht iea came from but i id it and am now a qualified diving. it was really scry but also relly good too. for those of u that are interested i bought a dvd of me diving so when i get back you can watch it!! hee hee.
so this coure took 4 days and it consisted of theory work in the classroom and skill sessions in the pool. was sooooo scared!! then also got to do 4 dives in the sea to 12-18m. ws sooo much fun. i hated some of the skils we had to do thought. he fully floooded mask trick killed me everytime. also the skills where u have to share air with ur buddy or the ones where they just switch ur tank off underwater and u have to tell them ur out of air before they will switch it back on!! it was scary stuff and i had to buy my instructor several beers for the number of times i said 'i cant do it' obviously i did it in the end lol. hee hee.

because i di this diving therewere 6 of us on my course plus 3 close friends that i met last time - dennis, hanna and tom. so we created a lovely little community here. meetin up at 5oclock every night for beers(well i drank coke!!) and diving in the day. also had a wimming pool so any spare time we just chiled ou round this. had such an awesome week here. really didnt want to leave thailand. was sooo much fun and ko tao is cheap so was loving not spending loads of money!!but i had to leave beautiful thailand.

got a boat to ko samui and had a flight booked to KL via phuket. now i have to tell u about ko samui airport!! oh m gosh its soooo amazin. doesnt feel like an airport it is all outside, u check in outside u walk alng little shops that look like a a quaint little street in the suberbs in the states or somewhere (like woodbury common shopping outlet in new york) for those of you that hve been. so that is amazing point number 1, then u get thru to the gates which are like shelters and thre is acomplimentary corner so i go and investigate and tere is a full buffet with drinks etc pastries and cakes all free!! wow. and free wifi so im sittin in the sun on my laptop eating free food! one o the perks when ur travelling trust me!!
so then i arrive in Kuala Lumpar and am picked up by lisa (my friend that i went to uni with, she lives in malaysia) so i go to her house where i have my own bedroom with ensuite bathroom andthe house is like a mansion!! luxury i feel lik a princess they are treating me soo lovely. everything is clean and her housekeeper even washes all my clothes and my white shorts actually come back white!! wow!!
so whille im here we go shopping, eat lots of food including dominoes ake away! meet up with her cousins and her family. went to a karaoke night but we had our own little booth room with all her friends and we jst sing to each other was really good fun. sooo much food on the buffet tho. also go out to a proper club onee night too called zuet. i a good laugh. ooo am=nd u cant forget th litte green running man, and also having mcdonalds breaks=fast t 4am in the morn on the way home from he nightclub!! ha ha
on my last day with lisa we took a tip to a bird park it is the worlds largest outdoor aviary and we saw mmmm u guessed it loads of birds.!! lol i fed some little parrots and they sat on my shoulder and arm!! was really good fun.

this brings me to the end of my time in malaysia but im afraid not the end of the blog yet cause we got one more country to talk about.... im now in Bali.

so when i first arrived here i went to the main town of Kuta. this place is crazy literally. like a bangkok on the beach. spent the days renting a surfboard and hitting the surf and sunbathing all day from literalaly sunrise to sunset. was good fun. the nights consisted of 2 for 1 cocktails. have had dinner wit a different person every night since i have been here. lol. went to a really cool bar called kudeta one night amazing views of the sea and such a cool place.
now u no i dont like cities and people hasstling me to buy something from their shop. this reaally sarted to get to me so i decided to hop in a taxi and just go and explore the southern peninsula. so went to a place called uluwatu which is a surfers paradise however it was very very very quiet and only had one tiny beach - not big enuf for me so i went from one extreme to the other. no internet or bars or anything just lots of trees and not much else. met a guy who took me on the back of his moped and we explored a little bit, founf a temple on the hill and lots of monkeys. was nice with wind in hair driiong along little country roads!!
then after this i needed somewhere a bit busier so have ended up in nasa dua - a watersports haven!! literally thousands of boats lined up along the longest white beach ever to do every form of watersorts possible. so far ihave only done snorkling and a boat trip to turtle island where i saw.... u guessed it lots of turtles!! and other animals too. u wait till u see the photos - u will be surprised!!! lol.
think im gonna head back to kuta tomorro for my last night in bali, its really expensive wgere i am at the moment.
