Made it to Vietnam yesterday - and with barely any hassel getting across the boarder this time! though the cambodians kept calling us lowsie and clor! so had no idea what they were on about!

So we spent a couple of days in sihonikville in southern cambodia and tried to make our bad sun burn marks and dodgy tan lines disappeare! The beaches were really nice, if not a little bit small - but the cambodian girls trying to sell you jewellery and offering massages are really rough and pretty chavy! one girl offered chloe a "manicure, pedicure....shall i take off your hairy legs? - i have string!" - just what you want while relaxing on the beach, someone to thread your legs! urgh!

The second day we did a boat tour round Reem National Park, which was beautiful. We stopped off on a beach for a couple of hours then hiked through the woods - there was a new zealand couple who complained taht the hike wasn't much of a hike and wanted to go futher but chloe and i were already red and panting from heat/exhaustion! God we're unfit!

The next day we headed back to Phnom Penh and stayed at teh same guesthouse we stayed before we left. The receptionist noticed that we were looking a little redder and was appalled as they really value white skin and can't imagine frying themselves! Then yesterday we caught a six hour coach ride to ho chi minh city and finally found a place to stay after chugging around the streets with our rucksazcks. One lady was like 'come with me' and tried to convince us to stay in her loft! there was no way we could have fit up those stairs let alone with our bags! everyone here is tiny!

Anyway made it to vietnam and going to work our way up the coast so will let you know what i'm up to when we finally decide!
