And then there were 2... After the girls left us in Rio, the weather took a turn for the better and we moved to a better hostel- sorry girls! Managed to do the hang-gliding in perfect weather conditions- had over 20min flight, absolutely amazing!!! Will bore you all with the dvds when we get back. Spent some time sunbathing on Copocabana and Impanema beaches, went to a samba night in a favela (shanty town) which has rehearsals for carnival- amazing atmosphere, really loud band and we discovered how the ladies get their amazing toned bottoms!!!! Made it to a football match- Vasco v Fluminesce, a local derby- got teargassed, had fireworks lit next to us, beer delivery in the stands and guns pointed at us by policeman- all similar to ewood park really. Got to learn the chants and invested in shirts to blend in with the vasco fans- who won by the way. Now made our way to Belize in Central America via Texas- madness. Anyway on a small island called Caye Caulker and started our PADI diving course- not in the water today due to a tropical storm the tail end of hurricane gamma- bad weather seems to follow us!! But generallly been hot and humid, been swimming and snorkelling in the carribean sea and generally chilling before we hit reality of home.
