Hi. We've just arrived ib Buenos Aires and met up with Sam and Sarah in the poshest hotel so far by a long way! Since our last postcard we've been to Sucre, the chocolate capital of Bolivia which we made the most of. Also had some wicked Mojitos and tried our best to spend some money souvenir shopping but were unsuccessful. Then we visited the mines in Potosi which defy all health and safety regulations...but we survived 3km into the mountain unscathed. We took the miners gifts of dynamite, fuse, 96% alcohol..to drink..and cocoa leaves. A recipe for success!! Ater our mine tour we had some spare dynamite so blew up Winnie the Pooh..a tragedy!! had a mammoth bus journey..our last on Moose..into Argentina, and yes, we did play Madonna's Don't Cry For Me Argentina on entering..how original!! Had a couple of days in Salta enjoying the new found heat. Argentinian steak is awesome, as is the wine. Had our leaving do and said our sad farewells to everyone in our group before getting an 18 hour bus to Buenos Aires. Off to a Tango show this eve..hopefully gonna pick up some new moves!!
