We saw the Canyon from it's highest vantage point this morning, atop the historic watchtower...and yes, it was more awe inspiring! On our way out of the area we checked out Bearizona...a drive through wildlife park with black bears, bison and more...one bear even tried to eat our car tyres...got some great video footage of it. There is also a walkthrough part where the baby animals are...three gorgeous 3 month old cubs kept us all entertained for ages...wrestling and tumbling with each other (see the photo). And two beautiful bobcats who chased a squirrel along their fence line to no avail!
Then we hit the road again, deciding to pick the quickest route and save ourselves about 2 hours in the car over the next two days we gave up Phoenix, and find ourselves tonight in Needles. Not much to see here, although the Wizard of Oz is on and the kids are really into it, but since we got here after 6 and will leave about 8 in the morning we are fine about that....gives us more time in Legoland tomorrow.
