Hi all,

After an 18hour bus ride we arrived in Hoi An, The bus wasnt as bad as we thought and we managed to get some sleep.

We checked into our hotel which was nice and has a pool which is very cold Ashley told me this I didnt get in!!!!

We went for a wander to the beach on our first day as the map said it was 2km but after half an hour of walking and no sign of the beach we realised they had lied and turned round and walked back to the hotel.

That night we made some friends!!!!! who we went for dinner and drinks with, The food was ok but not as tasty as Thailand so we are looking forward to going back and having soem good food.

It is very hot here, we spent some time on the beach after we found it (its an hours walk). Some local man tried to take our picture and couldnt understand why we were not keen. Then the rest of his friends decided to start a football match and put us in the goal. We decided it was time to leave and sat by the pool at our hotel. Ashley has burnt her legs and i have burnt the backs of my hands (very random).

Off to the market today to see what its like a lot of people we have spoken to are getting clothes tailor and taking loads home but we dont have the time, It seems to be the thing to do here though. We might even get a few souvenirs.

At 6pm we are getting the sleeper bus to Saigon which will take about 24hours in the heat lol. will be an experience.

We have enjoyed Hoi An better than Hanoi so lets see what Saigon has to offer.
