We left Queenstown early the next morning it was really sad as we were leaving all our new friends behind and getting a new bus up to Christchurch, Its a long drive and took all day, we saw planty more lakes and mountains before getting there. The bus dropped us at the airport as we were flying to Wellington to pick up a new bus.
Our flight was delayed so we didnt arrive in Wellington until 11pm, it was very windy and the landing was a little dodgy, Ash was a bit nervous but we survived.
We left Wellington early the next morning so didnt get to see any of it which was a shame, but off to Taupo we went. On the way there I signed up for a sky dive, for that afternoon. We had a flat tyre though which ment we nealry missed our slto but it all worked out in the end.
Ash went on into Taupo and I got left at the dive centre with a couple of others, we all signed up for the 15,000ft dive, I was really excited and it was so good I loved it, we had to have oxygen after 10,000ft which was a bit scary but well worth it. On of the girls screamed the whole way down even when her chute had opened. I got a great view of Taupo and another lake.
We didnt do much in Taupo but left for Rotorua the next morning, the drive didnt take long so we were there in time for Ash to do whitewater rafting on grade 3 rapids. She loved it and there was a 7metre drop from a waterfall, but luckily noone in her boat fell out. I went for a walk around Rotorua which is known for it natural springs and it stinks of rotting eggs. Lovely.
The next night we headed into our fianl stop in New Zealand, Auckland. We didnt really do much as we were flying out to Fiji the next morning so did more washing and had a an early night.
We left Auckland at about 10am the next day. we enjoyed our time in New Zealand made loads of great friends. Of for soem sunshine now hopefully
