Beck I've just read the message about Roy & Pauline having a bacon & egg butty waiting for you when you return and having a roast dinner!!?? I'm sssssssoooooo jealous - how was it?! You can't beat a Brogan-Hewitt nosh up! I've not had a roast dinner since February 16th ha,ha!

Beck I'm working in Sydney temping for an office and its the most boring job (even more boring than packing Strawberries on the Sunshine Coast!) But the good thing is that I get to surf all day (on the internet that is!) and have just spent my morning finally reading your journal entries - only 2 months after you've got home!! I'm so sorry I've not been leaving more messages hun! It was great to get a text from you the other day, I miss you so much. Reading your journal has given me itchy feet though and I'm dying to get moving again, but unfortunatley my bank account is in desperate need of topping up so I have to stay put for a while. Staying with family friends in Sydney is a big help with the finances though. Mums coming out in 36 sleeps time, so I'm saving the touristy stuff for then, but was taken to visit the Coastal suburbs of Sydney at the week-end (such as Bondi and Palm Beech) which were lovely - did you visit them whilst you were here? I've written down the name of the ice bar you visited and am going to go there at the week-end I think with a mate for a bit of a birthday bash. So how did Gems hen do go? I'll bet it was great in Newcastle? I can't believe how close it is until the big day - pllleeeeeeeaaaassssseeeeeee e-mail photos of you all on the day, your gonna all look gorgeous! dad Good mornig Lou.well it is morning here on Wednesday 16th.of May time 10-15am. As usual I asked mum to set the computer up so I could send you a message.This time she even put Dad in so that Iwould get it right. Occasionally you pick the phone up when it rings and nothing happens, nobody speaks and it just goes back to ring tone.most irritating,well he explained that advertisers ring in a blocks of say 10 numbers at the same time and the first person to answer gets the message the rest are ignored.Why am I boring you with all this rubbish.If the phone rings and international comes up these days I answer it because it might be my Wheesey. Enough of the dribble where are you off to after your helicopter flight keep having a great time,will not be long now before we see you.As mum would say to me you have all ready told the girls this many times before hear goes. When you reach New York and you have done the Empire state building, been on the ferry round the Statue of Liberty,done Manhattan and the bridge if you have time look up the top of the 6s, that is corner of Six Avenue, Six Street,and Six floors up and just think of Mum and me being there many years ago having A very Romantic evenig there, happy days. Just heard that Ailsa is working at York races this afternoon on some promotion apparantly she has to walk in with the winners we think taping it now Dad Whoops the post has just arrived getting excited.Only one letter, brown envelope it is addressed to a Mrs Margaret Mary Green at 84 Harvelin park I wonder who she is. On the back of the envelope states "private and confidential if undelivered please return to unclaimed prizes dept" and it includes an Address. Iwonder what she has won better put it back in the post box stating not at this address poor thing.

roy hewitt Wednesday morning 10/05/06. Mum went off as usual at 7-30am.I sneaked back into bed and fell a sleep until 9-30 This is the life Weeze!!! At last we have a beautiful day here even the apple tree is starting to flower. Just received the post and there are two postcards from you.In one you are just showing off sitting in a helicopture head phones the lot, great picture you look terrific. The other is the famous Hollywood sign at Beverley Hills how about that. A couple of days ago we also received your postcard card showing the famous Franz Jousef Glacier. Absolutely fabulous. Great to here from you last night at the begining of your trek across the States telling us all about LA. and Frisco wish I was there with you,what a wonderful experience. Home news quite a bit boring really Mums new bathroom is looking good still waiting to open the shampers to celebrate the Jaccussi. The electrician has promised to finish the instalation this week. Yesterday I painted the bedding cupboard it will be great to put all the bits and pieces back in off the bed in the back room so you can use it when you come home to see us.Gemma and Mark had to move it on to the floor the last time they came Today the flooring people are coming to measure for the lino we have ordered.Yes changed our minds over carpet Told you the news was boring/!!! Lo. we are all well at this end.Ailsa spent Monday here all day revising for one of her exams, dashed back to Uni. Tuesday and found it had been cancelled poor Ailsa. Gemmas wedding plans are still progressing and Mum tells me most of it is paid for thank goodness.
