I've just visited the Iguassu falls.....they are spectacular.

We arrived in the Brazilian town of Iguassu (which is not actually spelt like that) at about 10am from the night bus. We quickly had a shower then met up an hour later to go and visit the Brazilian side of the falls.

On the Brazilian side is a visitors centre and then a walk way along the river to the falls, which ends up at a platform over part of the falls. They really are spectacular. We got soaked walking out onto the platform....it was great.

After visiting the falls we decided to pop over to Paraguay to do a bit of retail therapy. They have loads of electronics, perfume etc really cheap, so we thought we'd have a look.

We had quite an early night that night (we have all become obsessed with the Warner Channel, which has loads of American shows on it which I have never seen in England....the type you get on T4, anyway we watched that then went to sleep).

After a big breakfast we set off for Argentina to see their side of the falls. Again they are spectacular!!! This time we walked to catch a little train which took us to the start of a plaform walk over the top of the falls. We then got a boat ride back. This boat ride was to show us the wildlife of the ares....aligators, turtles etc.

After lunch we got a speed boat ride under the falls. It was fantastic!! We truely were soaked this time. As literally we went right under the falls!!

Yesterday we caught a 10 hour day bus to Curitiba. And today we catch a night bus to Rio, then another 2 hour bus, then a boat over to Ilha Grande islands (18 hours travelling in all!!). It is going to be nice to be in one place for 3 nights!!!

After that I have 2 nights in Rio, then I go home!! hasn't time flown by!!
