Today was spent at Tsugaike Kogen Resort. Dyl and I got up early to catch the bus from the hotel to be there in time for the first lift. We had a few runs in some decent snow before we met the rest of the crew to help them work on their snowboarding. The guys were picking up plenty of golden rules of the snow and Blake learnt an important one: all valuables go in a zip up pocket; he had lost his GoPro. Dyl and I went searching but no luck so we filled in a lost and found form. We had heard that due to the honesty of Japanese people lost things are almost always handed in and amazingly as they were about to leave the staff had Blake's GoPro for him! Lou tackled the chair lift exit a couple of times without a stack - a major win for her as she is petrified of it. Ash had a few big stacks; thankfully she had her helmet on and only suffered a bit of whip lash instead of concussion. Maj had a bout of the water works after failing to perfect her 'S' (heel side to toe side down the mountain) and a few stacks. By the time the first bus home came around the girls were well and truly exhausted. Dyl and I stayed around to continue. The onsen called for us when we got home. Blake and Lou made their first snow angels. After getting home we headed out for dinner and ended up at 'The Pub' as the steakhouse we had eyed up was fully booked. Movies, chocolate and cookies and it was off to bed.
