Arrived accross the Mekon river boarder from Thailand to laos! First thing i noticed was that was I in a different country, the rip off factor has increased ten fold! there are no cash machines anyway! so i had to beg the police to let me across the river again (and the border) back into Thaialand to get some! an dno one here speaks English! i better get learning! i take the slow boat tomorrow to luang perbang! along the mekon river!!!
