Well here I am for the second time in Santiago! and you know I love it!!

This time round its almost spring and its nice and warm in the day time with bright blue skies. Now that the smog has cleared slightly I can now see walk around the city I can now properly see the Andes for the first time! they are massive (as you would expect) and beautiful.

I'm down here to catch my flight to New Zealand and had hoped to do some skiing as some of Chile's best slopes are only a few hours outside of the city, but unfortunately that was not meant to be as if I had I would have missed my flight Still I managed to console myself with a several of Chile's finest (wines) in a very productive wine tasting/piss up session at my hostel

Next stop New Zealand!!!!!

Things I'm going to miss about South America.

• The buses that will take you everywhere!
• The crazy bus drivers
• The crazy people selling crazy tat on the buses morning noon and night
  
• Drinks in sandwich bags (yes sandwich bags that they stick a straw into and tie with one of those white things)
• Those little bags of water you can buy anywhere
• The fruit juices
• The weather
• The male attention, no matter what kind of bad hair day your having
  
• Taxi rides wherever and whenever you want them
• The completely different cultures from country to country
• Finding yet more weird food combinations (fruit salad and cheese, hot chocolate and cheese??!! I ask you!!!!!!)
• Salsa
