We ended up staying the night in surfers paradise as our friends were staying there. Its a weird place, lots of high rise buildings along the beach, with a load of tacky bars. very similar to benidorm if you have been there!

But we had a good drunken night out in Sin city anyway!

We headed to byron bay, another gorgeous coastal town. First day we were able to sunbathe and go for a nice walk up to the lighthouse, up a lot of steep steps. We stopped at the most easterly point on the mainland for a photo!We went out in cheeky monkeys in the evening, more dancing on the tables!I randomly bumped into Will while i was there as he had come up for this big music festival that was on.

Next day it poured with rain so we pretty much sat in the hostel and watched movies all day!Come on sunshine, please come back!

We then took an overnight bus to a place called newcastle, really cramped bus as it was easter so everyone was going away for the weekend. Managed to get some sleep on the 11 hour journey. Newcastle was alright, bit dead though as everything shuts here on good friday. And typically it wasnt even sunny so we couldnt sit on the beach!

We arrived in sydney on sat. Got to liz and wills flat which is gorgeous. I was so happy when i arrived to be able to have a home to stay in rather than hostels. Going to be here for 2 weeks, so excited and it was so lovely seeing liz after all these months. We can actually relax now. Looking forward to seeing all the sights!
