07/12/07 - 08/12/08 Left Seaforth and headed to 1770 - very lenghty drive, not much else on route except refreshment stops! Arrived 1770, another stunning beach view campsite, could get used to this! Left 1770 and headed to Bundaberg to visit family.

05/12/07 - 06/12/07 Left Paneralla park, lunched in Townsville and arrived in Airlie beach. Sailed to the Whitsundays on the Maxi Ragamuffin sailing boat, enjoyed the number one beach in Australia on the Whitsunday Isle and returned to land. Headed south and camped in Seaforth, beach view camp site.

13/12/07 - 14/12/07 Arrived in Noosa Heads early and headed to beach. Surfed with Lauren while Paul watched (injured toe from flying cafetiere prevented participation) - great time, good waves and rain storm! Camped and next day parted ways - will prob meet Paul and Lauren again in Sydney. Walked Noosa national park and headed south to Caloundra to meet Marks friend Jon.

10/12/07 - 12/12/07 Picked up Landrover Defender and headed on our Fraser Island 4x4 adventure. Crystal clear lakes with white sands, very knarley inland 4x4 driving, beach motorway (!), saw ship wreck, camped in tents, saw a shark and some sting rays and had a great time. Returned safely to mainland and headed south - camped in small town called Gympie. Still travelling with Lauren and Paul.

08/12/07 - 10/12/07 Left 1770, drove to Bundaberg and visited rum factory including samples! Visited Marks great Auntie Joyce and her family who run a passion fruit farm. Visited Marks great Uncle Phil and enjoyed a family bbq on Sunday 9th with fresh home grown passion fruit! Left late afternoon and headed to Mon Repos beach and observed from 2m a turtle crawl up the beach and lay her eggs - helped re-locate eggs to safe nest! Stunning. Stayed the night and ...
