14th November 2006 - 16th November 2006Arrived in KL mid afternoon from the Cameran Highlands and checked into our hotel, rest of group decided that they would go to the very Malaysian Nandos.... we gave it a miss and went to what looked like a nice little local place, trying to be more cultural! We should really not have bothered, it was a veggie restaurant that served everything from "Mock mutton" to " mock prawns".... nice!!Found a nice bar...

Spent whole day travelling to arrive in Penang, a big island in Malaysia by late afternoon, a quick change and went for yummy indian food and a few backpacker pubs and ended up dancing in our trainers and day clothes into the early hours, with the locals totally loving us and wanting us to dance with them! They are very nice people and there were also a shed load of Auzzie army men. All in all a really good night apart from the crimes against fashion, we are now ...
