When Big Ben Chimes I saw the New Year in on the banks in London watching the fireworks with Jae and some friends. What can I say the crowds were crazy, the fireworks absolutely amazing and the bus trip home interesting to say the least. But here's to the new year and being in OZ next year. Sweet Home Surrey As the song goes sweet home (well Surrey) as I finally arrived back in the UK and moved into my new room close to work. Yipeee no more hostel living at least for now and back to work.

Madrid Once again up and early and heading off to Madrid. We spent the day looking around the city and Fi and I spent the night at a local bar having cocktails again. The others were up to some mischief on the other side of town no doubt. Unfortunately this was my last leg of the trip. However, I did get a blurry and groggy goodbye from everyone as I left at some crazy hour to catch my plane back to London.
